Randonee skiing to Lisle Storenut
Lisle Storenut is located in Breive and offers a long and wonderful descent. From the summit there are wide, smooth lines which gradually become narrower when you get down to the treeline. The terrain is moderately steep and requires a good turning technique through the forest. We advise you to inspect the terrain on your way up to find the ideal lines for the descent.
From the starting point by the road barrier in Breive you begin a diagonal ascent almost immediately. Maybe you see the outlines of a road taking off to the right. You may follow this, but very soon it comes to an end. Continue diagonally upwards and follow the ridge to the summit.
Lisle Storenut has an elevation of 1205 metres, well above the treeline. You will notice the wind and weather on the summit, but the mountain in general is fine to descend although the weather might be a bit rough. Even if you don’t walk all the way to the top, you still get a great descent. Good powder skiing after heavy snowfalls.
