Classification

Our cross-country trails have green, blue and red codes on the map. These are the colours you will find on the poles marking the trails, indicating their level of difficulty:

GREEN: Short, easy trails in gentle, low-lying terrain. Suitable for beginners and families with young children.

BLUE: For the more experienced skiers. These trails are somewhat longer, have steeper slopes and are generally located above the tree line. Bring some extra clothing and food, and be prepared for strong winds and bad visibility.

RED: Long trails in open mountain terrain, above the tree line. Not necessarily steep, but for a lot of people, this is a day trip. As the trails traverse mountain terrain, you must be prepared for bad weather.

For all categories, it is vital that you are familiar with and observe the mountain code.
