Experience Bykle Day on Saturday, September 5, with activities for the whole family, a water release at Dam Sarvsfossen, open fire station, local food, storytelling, exhibitions and a concert in Bykle church.
Description
On Saturday, September 5, the annual Bykle Day will take place in Bykle village.
The day starts at 10:00 with a release of water from the Sarvsdammen dam, where sausages and juice will be served. The fire station will also be open to visitors, and the Norwegian fire-safety mascot "Bjørnis" will be there.
From 12:00 to 15:00, there will be activities, exhibitions and food sales at the open-air museum Lislestog, a local cultural and heritage venue in Bykle. Visitors can also join a guided visit and storytelling session in the old Bykle church.
The day ends with a folk music concert by Rakkel in the new Bykle church at 15:00.
