Hovden Alpine Center is located at the top of Setesdal and is among Norway's largest and most snow-secure ski resorts. The lifts take you up to the mountain peaks Hovdenut and Storenos, the latter being over 1200 meters above sea level.

The ski tracks at Hovden stretches over 170 km, covering both forest and mountain terrain. The trails are regularly groomed, often daily, as long as weather and snow conditions permit.
 

There is a wide selection of alpine skis, snowboards, telemark skis, randonnée skis, and cross-country skis, as well as snowshoes and sleds. The ski rental is located in the base area of Hovden Alpine Center.

Hovden Fjellbad is a popular swimming facility located in scenic surroundings. It includes 25-meter swimming pool, outdoor infinity pool, water slides, a wellness area with saunas and much more!

We replace our skis with sledges and set off down the slopes at full speed! Every day just before closing time, we gather at the chairlift before being transported up to the starting point in Mor Åse.
 

In the group ski school, we have something for everyone, regardless of age and skill level! Our experience is that skiing pleasure goes hand in hand with mastery and new challenges adapted to the individual's level.

Experience nature in a new and exciting way. Learn to handle your own dog team. Behind the team, on the sled, it's just you, your loyal four-legged friends, and the mountain's silence and tranquility – nothing else.

The club is the coolest activity club at Hovden for those between 7-12 years old who enjoy being on the slopes the most.

A great ice skating rink in winter that is open to everyone. Floodlighting in the evening. If you forgot your skates, you can rent them from us.

There are many great opportunities for summit hikes in our municipality – and in neighboring municipalities. We have prepared seven hike suggestions in Bykle municipality for you, in collaboration with several summit hike enthusiasts.

Tusseklubben is the coolest activity club at Hovden for those between 4-6 years old who enjoy being on the slopes the most.
 

Many visit Hovden without skiing but still have a desire to get out into nature. Therefore, we offer two trails that are a combination of ski trail and winter hiking trail – for those who want to walk or use snowshoes.
 

Private lessons are for everyone who wants to feel the joy of skiing again, regardless of their level or experience. If you feel this is something you need, don't hesitate to contact us!

Hovden community center is a public multi-purpose house, owned and operated by Bykle municipality, under culture and leisure / technical operations and property.

Hovden Fitness center is connected to Hovden Water Park & Spa. This is a modern fitness center equipped with treadmills, spinning bikes, weights and dumbbells, rowing machines, ski machines, and more. You can train daily from 06:00 to 23:00.
