A lot of people visit Hovden without plans to go skiing. However, they are often looking for nice places to walk. We are happy to inform you that Hovden has two winter trails that accommodate cross-country skiers, those who prefer walking on foot and those who use snowshoes.

Starting point for the trail "Hovden sentrum" is the town centre or the Hegni outdoor area.
Starting point for the trail "Hartevasstjønn" is the Day Parking South, approx. 1 km north of the town centre.
