Tourist information
Destinasjon Hovden runs the tourist information office and manages hospitality tasks for Bykle municipality. We are located at Hovdetun in central Hovden.
At the tourist information office, you get useful information about our municipality and the surrounding areas. We offer brochures, maps, hiking suggestions, and more. Among our items for sale are good hiking maps, some souvenirs, local books, beautiful posters, and our local wall calendar (annual calendar poster). We also have baby carriers and kicksleds for rent.
Moreover, Destinasjon Hovden carries out services/assignments for the private and public sectors, focusing mainly on development of common goods, content production, information material, and event coordination.
Destinasjon Hovden has obtained Eco-Lighthouse certification, and the environment and climate report can be made available upon request.

At the tourist office, the popular posters with old motifs from Hovden are for sale. The size is 60 X 40 cm.

We also sell a wall calender in the size 30 x 40 cm (A3 format). It contains useful information about public holidays and school holidays, plus a number of great photos from the Hovden/Bykle area.
