Is there an alcoholic beverage retailer in Hovden?

Yes, "Vinmonopolet" (the Wine Monopoly) is located at Hovdegrend, next to the Rema 1000 supermarket. Opening hours to be found here.

Are there grocery stores in Hovden?

Yes, there are three large supermarkets: Kiwi Hovden, Extra Hovden and Rema 1000 Hovden.

Is there a pharmacy in Hovden?

Extra Hovden has a small pharmacy outlet. You cannot get prescription items there. The nearest full-service pharmacy is located in Åmot in Vinje, about one hour's drive from Hovden.

Are there public toilets in central Hovden?

Yes, there are public toilets in the basement of the shopping centre Hovdetun, which are accessible when the stores are open. Hovdetun is the large building next to Extra, where the tourist information is located.

Where do i find the tourist office?

The tourist office is located at Hovdetun, next to the Extra supermarket.

Where can I park my car?

In Hovden, there are several parking options: in the village centre, by the cross-country arena, and at the alpine centre. In central Hovden, there is also a large indoor parking facility.

Is there an ATM in Hovden?

No, there is no longer an ATM in Hovden. Norwegian bank cards can be used at KIWI for both deposits and withdrawals of cash.

With most band cards, you may also withdraw cash in other grocery stores.

The nearest ATM is in Bykle (at the gas station), about 28 km south of Hovden.

Where are the charging stations for cars?

In central Hovden, there is a large parking area with charging facilities. There is a Tesla Supercharger with 12 charging points as well as fast-charging stations from Eviny.
