Hovden is surrounded by large mountain areas on all sides. Here, you are invited to explore beautiful terrain where both young and old can go hiking. Hovden consists of large protected areas that offer wild and untouched nature. The views are great on all hikes.
Whether you want to go on longer hikes from cabin to cabin or shorter hikes in the center, you will always find something that suits you.
In summer and autumn (up to week 41), you have the opportunity to take the summer lift to the top of Storenos. This saves you 400 meters of elevation if you plan to continue further into the mountains, for example, to the DNT cabin Sloaros.
