Welcome to a week filled with folk music, dance, competitions, and great gatherings at Hovden in Setesdal June 24—28.
Directions
Hovden is located in the very north of the Setesdal valley, along the road Rv. 9, and is easily accessible.
From the south, follow Rv. 9 from Kristiansand. Travelling time from Kristiansand to Hovden is approx. 3 hours by car.
From the north, take off from the road E134 at Haukeli and follow Rv. 9 to Hovden. Travelling time from Haugesund is appox. 3,5 hours and from Oslo approx. 4 hours.
There are also buses to Hovden from Kristiansand and Haukeli, with correspondence to Eastern and Western Norway.
