Ørnefjell Golf Course
Øvrefjell Golfbane is a 9-hole course situated in scenic surroundings, offering challenges for most players. The nature, the views, the wildlife, the tranquility, and the quality time you experience during a round make it worth the visit on its own.
Description
All greens have artificial turf. The course has a total length of 4564 meters. The longest hole is a par 5, measuring 445 meters. The golf course is located at 720 meters above sea level.
The course is located at 725 meters above sea level. It opens when the snow has melted and remains open as long as conditions allow. Normally from mid-June to the end of October.
The course is owned and operated by Hovden Golf Club and is largely based on volunteer work. The pro shop and kiosk are staffed on weekends throughout the season, and daily for much of July and August. At other times the course is self-service, both for the driving range and green fees (Golfbox).
