Description
The film is a bold and original reinterpretation of one of the greatest love stories of all time, and Fennells own version of the story from Emily Brontes classic novel. Robbie and Elordi play a couple whose forbidden passion for each other evolves from romantic to intoxicating in an epic drama of desire, love, and madness. The cast also includes Owen Cooper, Charlotte Mellington, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, Ewan Mitchell, and Oscar-nominee Hong Chau. Fennell directs from her own screenplay and produces alongside Josey McNamara and Margot Robbie. Behind the camera, Fennell collaborates with several of her regular colleagues, including Oscar-winning cinematographer Linus Sandgren, Oscar-nominated production designer Suzie Davies, and Oscar-winning costume designer Jacqueline Durran.
