Hovden Fjellbad - Nye Hovden Badeland

After many years of planning, construction – and a new vision – we are thrilled to welcome you to Hovden Fjellbad: a newly built and modern bathing facility that combines health, wellness, and nature experiences in a spectacular way.

Hovden Fjellbad will feature a 25-meter swimming pool with lanes for training and exercise, as well as 1-, 3-, and 5-meter diving platforms offering fun and challenges for both youth and adults.

An Exclusive Wellness Area

Enjoy tranquility in our new wellness section, offering facilities such as:

• Hot tubs and saunas

• Cold plunge pool for the brave

• Steam baths and relaxation zones

• A spectacular outdoor infinity pool – the aqueduct – stretching across the ski trail with stunning views of Hovdenuten and Nos

Right by the banks of the Otra River, a separate sauna is also being built – perfect for complete relaxation in close contact with nature.

From Fire to New Greatness

After our former wellness section was destroyed by fire in March 2022, we saw the opportunity to build something even bigger and better. Now, we're realizing the dreams many of our guests have shared:

✔ A unique wellness experience in magnificent surroundings

The building is designed by the renowned Danish architecture firm ALL, led by Kasper Lorentzen, and is being constructed by BRG Entreprenør AS. The facility will be completed by autumn 2025, with the official opening set for Saturday, September 27 at 09:00 – right in the middle of the autumn school holiday.

A Place for Both Body and Soul

Hovden Fjellbad will become a gathering spot for locals, cabin owners, and visitors – a place for play, exercise, and relaxation. Here, mountain air, warm baths, and architecture meet in a harmonious experience you won’t forget.
