Art exibition "When the Images Awaken", Olav Bjørgum

In June and July, Bykle og Valle art association presents the exhibition "When the images Awaken". The exhibition showcases prints and paintings by the folk artist Olav Bjorgum and offers insight into his rich artistic universe, with themes such as music, dance, and everyday folk life. Olav Bjorgum himself took great pleasure in music, something that is clearly reflected in several of his works. Some of the artworks are on Ioan from the Setesdalsvegen museum, while many also come from private collections and various institutions. In addition to original prints and paintings, visitors can experience a light and image installation in which one of Bjørgum`s motifs has been animated and set in motion, giving the image new life.
