Color Line Tour - May 30
May 30 marks the 40th anniversary of the bicycle race Color Line Tour!
In additions to the regular participants, mayors from all the municipalities in the Agder region will take part in the touring class which starts in Valle at 12:00 hrs. This class is open for everyone, no timekeeping, and electric bikes are allowed.
At Hovden, the destination of the race, a "bicycle fun" event will be organised. Children and youngsters are encouraged to bring their bicycles and get to the village centre. Get to Hovden and join the celebration!
"Landskappleiken" at Hovden June 24-28
Welcome to several days filled with traditional music, dance, competitions and memorable encounters. Here you will find the programme for this year’s Landskappleik – a large and lively cultural event taking place over five days.
What is "Landskappleiken"?
Landskappleiken is an annual festival and competition celebrating Norwegian traditional music and dance. It is considered the national championship in this field and has a long history dating back to 1888.
Each year, the event is hosted in a new location in Norway. The participants compete in traditional music, singing and dance, while visitors may enjoy performances, concerts, local culture and a vibrant festival atmosphere.
