The popular ski resort Hovden is located in the municipality of Bykle. With its up-to-date, well-equipped ski centre, a creative terrain park, seemingly endless cross-country tracks and pleasant accommodation alternatives, Hovden is a complete winter destination.

But also during the other seasons Hovden has a lot to offer: The fairly quiet month of May is the time to move away from the beaten track and explore the backcountry. In mid/late June, several outdoor activities and various attractions open to the public, and concerts, exhibitions and other events are under way.

In July, August and well into the autumn, Hovden is a paradise for hikers. From short, easy family hikes to long mountain treks, our guests are guaranteed a spectacular experience – especially when the intense, beautiful mountain colours come to life.
